The History department retired its Dell, dual 700 MHz PIII, dedicated server in August of 2005, and replaced it with an up-to-date Dell rack mounted server powered by dual xenon processors. It is maintained by Missouri State University Computer Services and administered by Marc Cooper. During 2007 it served an average of 1,647 visitors per day.
