bulletTo enroll in SEC 302 need: EDC 150 and 45 hours completed;
bulletTo enroll in courses beyond SEC 302 students must complete the C-BASE, maintain  a minimum content gpa of  2.75, and be admitted to the Teacher Education Program;
bulletTo enroll in HST 418, Prerequisites include: SEC 302, EDC 350, SPE 340, admission to Teacher Education Program, and completed 12 hours of History courses.
bulletTo enroll in HST 422 or HST 423 students must complete all other program and  course requirements, have a minimum 2.75 combined gpa in content; 2.5  professional education courses, have a C or better in all Education courses, and successfully complete Professional E-Portfolio Check Point 2.
bulletIt is recommended that students take the PRAXIS II the semester prior to student teaching. For certification students are required to pass PRAXIS II with a score of 152 or higher.

Special requirements

·         ACT score, see the ACT Requirements page;

·         Overall G.P.A. 2.5 or better required for entrance into the BSEd program;

·         C-BASE score of 265 or better or completion of waiver contract for graduation;

·         Major G.P.A. 2.75 or better is required to enter and maintain admission to teacher education program and for graduation;

·         Minor G.P.A. 2.5 or better (if applicable) is required for graduation;

·         Degree Program must be filed at 45 hours;

·         It is recommended that Praxis II be taken the semester prior to student teaching.  A score of 152 or better is required for certification.

·         Minimum of 125 hours required for graduation;

·         Students must meet state certification requirements in effect at graduation to receive certification.
