Dr. Larry Burt is a specialist on the history of Native American peoples in the United States.  His research interests also include environmental history and the ecological impact of human habitation in the Ozarks region.  He teaches a variety of history courses, ranging from introductory courses on the history of the United States, to upper level courses on Native American history.
